Need help connecting my new PC!

I just picked up my custom built PC and when I got home I connected everything. I turn it on and the power lights and everything is running but the monitor has a orange light not a green. I have a Dell 19″ Monitor and I have tried plugging it in and out several + Restarting PC … I need help because I need to install the OS on my New PC!

try connecting it to the second connector on your graphics card…

Thanks i looked in my Graphics card box and it has a splitter which fixed the issue.
