MU redeem points

So i finally have 100.000 points there. My account is still free and i�m wondering how can i get the $100 reward.
It says i need to be premium to get paid, but if i get a premium account, will all my points earned when i was free be ignored?
I really don�t get this “you need to be premium to get paid”, because i saw someone saying that i would only get paid if i get points with a premium account (no free).

you need to buy at least 1 month premium membership to be able to get paid the $100 reward
