msn offline messages
February 4th, 2020
I always wanted to know more about this topic..
Where does those messages are stored when offline message is sent ? does every user on my list have a message limit can send ? how long those messages are stored until the user sign in and receive them?
thanks for help
Probably on the msn servers
Offline messages are like PMs on here. As soon as someone has sent you a PM and you’re not online, it will be sent to the “Outbox”. After the user you sent the PM to reads it, it will be then moved to the “Sent” box, letting you know that the PM has been read.
So yes, offline messages are stored on MSN’s side.
yep for sure on msn server … but i have some question marks on how those messages are treated …
How do you mean treated? It’s like when I would send you a text message to your phone but your phone is turned on. The text message will wait until you turn on your cell phone. All messages send to you when you are offline will just wait on the msn servers until you log in to your msn account, that’s when the msn servers get the “message” that you are ready to receive the files.
