Monitor help

I have a LCD Monitor with a single VGA Output.I want to connect this monitor with my PC and a TV Device at the same time so that i can switch between PC and TV with a switch and without disconnecting/reconnecting.Is this possible.Please help.

Incorrect, It’s an Input.

What do you mean by “TV Device”? A digital cable/sat box or the TV itself? (the ladder not making any sense)

We assume that you TV has a VGA input…
In which case you can use the VGA switch box.

I think I get it now, He wanna split the VGA output from his video card to connect it two-ways to his TV & Monitor.
I originally thought he wanted to connect his Monitor to the TV, Which didn’t make any sense, But it’s not entirely my fault, He just didn’t explain himself correctly. I think he could use a KVM too if he doesn’t find a switch box.
