mkv help

since my ps3 cant play mkv have been trying to find a program to convert them to mp4 or avi i have used amadis dvd ripper but sound is allways off somtimes it sounds like slow motion is there a better program or way to do this thanks phylip

It does a quick and easy change of container in most cases..

Although IMO, since lots of containers these days are mkv, you can save yourself a lot of time, aggravation and wasted overheated CPU cycles by buying a cheap media player that plays everything you throw at it without conversion.

I have my ps3 linked into my home network and use ps3 media server to stream mkv’s from my laptop to the ps3 it converts on the fly saves the laborious task of converting youself.http://www.ps3mediaserver.org/
