Megashares Download Problems

February 9th, 2020

Well, I paid $10 for a 1-month linkcard with Megashare.
I’m trying to download http://d01.megashares.com/?d01=d8794dc, but it won’t work.
I click to download, and after around 10 seconds of struggling, I get a page load error. Any ideas how to fix this?
I really want to download this.
Thanks
EDIT: Here’s a picture of the error —

a little more information is needed to help determine the problem.
can you download that file without logging into your account? can you download any other file from MS while signed in?
usually that error appears when two or more computers in your home are trying to use the same IP but it can mean other things as well (possibly including your account being used by someone else). if two or more computers are using the same IP then it would cause more problems than that also so it must be a different error.
try to do the two questions posted above and see if the problem persists.

Same problem… and they don’t even care responding to my messages…
~ censored ~ idiots!
Answer #3
That link works on my end. Both with and without my account.
Try the link again and see if it works now.

Hmm, let’s see…
Yes, I can start the download without logging in. Hmm… :\
And I’ve tried a few other files now, and none have worked. What the hell?
I’m pretty sure nobody else on the network is using the same IP, and there’s definitely nobody using my account. This sucks.

strange,
i know this might not do anything but you can try resetting your IP. i really have no clue on what could be wrong if IP resetting won’t work but you should try emailing MS support as well, here’s a link to contact:
http://www.megashares.com/321contact.php
resetting ip:
1. click start then run (may be different in vista)
2. type in cmd
3. command prompt will open, type in the following and hit "enter"
4. ipconfig /release
5. then type in "ipconfig /renew" (without quotes of course)

also, if willing, try downloading the file from a download manager such as (if using firefox, get the downthemall extension).

Hmm…
Well, maybe I’ll email them.
But I couldn’t reset my IP like that anyway, I’m on a Mac. I’ll check around to find out how to do so on here.
Anyway, I restarted just to see if it would work.
Now the link says that the link is currently offline for scheduled maintenance =\
Thanks
