Max Battery on power options = faster PC?

Does enabling max battery on power options (located in control panel) result in a faster PC? By the way I have XP, there is a similar option avaible for Vista but it is much simpler than the Xp version.

no battery=wasting your time xD
if your looking for over clock of a graphics card or processror just look around for the software for that specific model.

theoreticaly it might do, if it disables the visual themes etc. in practice (and in XP) it doesnt, and even if it did, the result would be negligible
