Macbook pro late 2013 or upgraded Ativ Book 9 plus

purely because of its resolution being alot higher at 3200×1800 vs mac 2560×1600.
My question is, is there “really” much difference.
Also i would like to know which is better

Also i would eventually have to run bootcamp (windows 8.1) at some point as apps i use dont work on the mac.
Would really appreciate the help on this one and would like to know what you would go for and why.

your not really helping either. 1st you didn’t know the Ativ existed even though clearly it does, so how can you comment and recommend the mac when you no nothing about the ativ which defeats the question in hand.

Hardware wise, obviously the ATIV is better, but that doesnt mean much really. Apple has always had lower spec stuff, but I and many(any) user of mac will tell you it is incredibly smooth and seemless operation, and thats really what makes them so good. The ATIV supports a higher res but that wont be functional with some games and will actually hurt you more than it helps, 2560 is a much more standardized resolution and so I think that is worth noting. If you want to game, get the ATIV, even though you could boot camp the mac, it won’t run games as good, obviously because the spec’s are lower. But, if gaming is not important, definitely get the mac, they are so nicely made and feel good to use, its a much more pleasant experience.

Yeah I’m not going to be gaming and definitely
will need to use the boot camp so that i have windows which is a must.
I was more swayed to the Ativ’s higher res as I was thinking
Movies hd/4k and pictures would look great and better then the mac.so I was wanting the best graphics which I’m not sure which one of the two has the best.
Besides viewing hd content and viewing pictures I’ll be doing hd video editing mainly so need the fastest processor.
