MacBook help

August 13th, 2013

Hi, Most importantly this laptop has a failing hard drive. In disk utility it tells me to back up as the hard drive is failing. It has an 80GB hard drive and I upgraded the RAM to 1.2MB a few years ago
Is this fixable?
Also the optical drive is not working ? Is this fixable
If yes what can I do to fix this ? Thank you

Answer #1
Replace The Defective Parts.
Hard Drive can be replaced i guess,
Not sure of the CD Drive, if you get a spare else try using a USB one.
Answer #2
Dude, seriously, use google. Mac hardware is not the widest field of discussion and every problem under the sun has been covered before. If your hard drive is failing, replace it. If your optical drive is broken either replace it or get an external one (personally I would do the latter).
