Mac application install question
January 26th, 2020
Some of the Applications I’ve downloaded, once I’ve unZipped the downloaded file, I then have a folder called Contents, inside this folder are normally either 4 to 7 folders and normally a couple of other files, which have the below names:
The folders:
_CodeSignature
Frameworks
MacOS
Resources
The couple of other files:
info.plist
PkgInfo
I was wondering if someone could explain to me please how I go about installing these?
Thanks in advance
from where did u download these applications….Mac OS applications are usually in a .dmg format which can be recognized on Macs

I downloaded them off here. The poster for most of the downloads I’ve got is Mojado.
I think the problem I’m having is that I unzipped them on my Windows PC. And with them been for the Mac, the Windows OS is ripping them open when I unzip them. Perhaps if I left the files in their zipped form and placed them on my Mac (when I get one) the unzipping process on there would perhaps leave me with a dmg or a package that I would then be able to install. But as I know very little about Mac’s I was wanting someone who knows about these things to confirm/clarify this.
EDIT: Disregard this post. knows better than I
That’s fine that’s what happens sometime when you read files on a pc..’I had adobe keygen That would be a folder with strange files inside.. As soon as its on the mac it’s a single file you double click to open
