Lost free space in my drive due to defragmentation

I have only one partition in my laptop that is “C Drive” and I have installed “Piriform Defraggler” and then defragment my C Drive but after defregmentation I have lost lot of free space in my C Drive. I had 106 GB free space in my drive but after defragmentation now I have 42 GB free space. I don’t know where is rest of the free space gone.
Can anyone tell me how can i get my free space back. I am really worried.

Remove Piriform and remove unwanted files. I use Tuneup Utilities 09 and it frees up a lot of room.
OMG isnt that way too much? I sometimes lose free space but thats never more than 1 GB. And no it does not depend on the size of the hard disk cuz I have a total of 600 GB in that partition!
