Answer #1
Hm, you got to be specific mate.
What are your needs?
What are you going to use it for?
What is your budget?
That guy likes to set custom builds for people.
Answer #2
16gb memory you will be looking at 4gb dimms and it will cost you $800-900 for the ram alone.
Waste of cash.
What do you need so much ram for? As above will need to know some things first before showing you what’s available. 1-Total budget for the build?
2- Use of build, ie games/video or image editing/ rendering etc?
3-What country you are in?
4-if you are playing games than at what resolution?.
Answer #3
Unless you’re going to be doing some heavy modelling and double renderings at once, screw the ram. You won’t even use up 6gb and the rest will just be a total waste of money. Once you update information on what your budget and needs are, I’ll set up something nice here.
Answer #4
If your just browsing the net, 3GB is more than enough. 16GB is only useful for a few applications and servers.
BTW: how do you define fast in your perspective?
Answer #5
Fast pc = 2 intel i7 3.33GHz, 8Gb ram of 1666Mhz, get couples of SSD on raid 0,dual ati radeon HD5970 in crossfire.
