KGB format problem

I downloaded san andres for pc in KGB archive format (100 meg download.)
however, due to the massive compression (I assume), it’s going to take 57 hours to decompress I’m running a 3ghz dual core amd processor and 2 gig of ram, any ideas why it’s taking such a long time?
any help would be much appreciated
because its like 5 gigs compressed down to 50 kb.. did you expect it to decompress in 10 minutes?

yeah, thats what kgb does, compresses it so much, you might as well just download the full game instead of just a 50 kb file.. and not to mention there is a much greater risk of the file being corrupted once it does decompress

Never heard of KGB file lol….Now I know not ever to use it :p.
if i remember correctly, the KGB was designed for people with dialup, if u have a decent internet connection u should b fine 2 just download big file if uve god dialup, use KGB and leave ur pc running for a couple of days
