kaspersky 2011 or eset smart security
August 5th, 2016
I’m using win 7, 1 GB ram, 150gb hd, duo core processor.
I suggest using Kaspersky PURE
ESET
AVG
Go for the latest version of Kaspersky you can get your hands on.
I would suggest Kespersky 2011
Kaspersky PURE Or Kaspersky Internet Security 2011
found Kasper a little heavy……..
without a doubt kaspersky 2011
I tested them all – ESET is best all the way
yes Kaspesky is heavy for a 1 GB RAM and Win7 if you want try using Dual boot and use Kaspersky with XP and probably Eset with your Windows 7 incase you wanna be safe enough otherwise you could just go with Eset Anti-virus and Comodo Firewall and either of Malware Bytes or Super Anti-Spyware
Ahh…. my 2 favorite AV’s… hard decision.
In the past I’ve swore by ESET through thick & thin.
Recently Kaspersky has been catching my eye (and not just by the publicity it has been getting) sadly I’m beginning to see Kaspersky become bloated.
Detection wise apparently Kaspersky is doing awesome.
With your specs… I would recommend neither, but more toward NOD32… but that is just me.
In my honest opinion you should spend the money on more RAM, set your system behind a router and just practice a bit of carefulness until you can afford a full AV.
Then I would recommend Kaspersky
