Jailbreak itouch

I have upgraded to new 3.0 software on my ipod touch, it was previously jailbroken with older software, and won’t let me add any applications other than purchased apps. i carried out jailbreak procedure again but still having problem addding apps
Any ideas?

So you used redsn0w to jailbreak? You have cydia?
You added cydia.hackulo.us source, and installed appsync? (instead of mipatch)?
