Ive got a samsung monitor, and sometimes it doesnt react?

January 25th, 2020

Ok the deal is guys, Ive got a samsung Syncmaster 2053BW, and it doesnt react when I turn my computer on.
I have to do the above 4-5 times in order for it to actually show the start up screen, and even when it does, the power button flicks in a weird kinda way.
How can I fix this?
PS. its not faulty.

Answer #1
try it on a different computer if you can, it may be your graphics card
try updating your drivers for the graphics card also
Answer #2
I think you might need to update the bios of your graphic card .
I could be wrong though .

Answer #4

Answer #5
Sounds like it is faulty to me. How long have you had the screen for? It might be something inside thats conflicting. Also is it connected vga or hdcp?
Answer #6
its connected throught VGA, im gonna take it back tommorow, might get a new one. Also, whats the best screen size for average browsing/basic games?
Answer #7
The size you got is probably ok…Got a 2253LW myself..
Bit hard to say your fault…can only really go by swapping monitors or PCs…
Best connection is by DVI cable if you PC can support it….Otherwise maybe upgrade the video card..
Also are the plugs screwed in nice and tight ,no bent pins?
Does the PC actually boot up but without display…or hang before booting?
Was it OK with old monitor, if you had one..
