Is the PS3 hackable yet?

All I want is to play free games on the PS3, but a long while ago the PS3 was “unhackable” at that time, and I was wondering if it possible now and if it is how can I do it?? If I buy a PS3 at the store right now will the firmware allow me to do this?

100% no i’m afraid… really is as simple as that…
You need a PS3 with firmware 3.55 or below to run the custom firmware needed for downloaded games…
The only chance of getting one is used, as new PS3’s will probs come with 3.60 or above.
Sony have got on top of it

I have got one 3.55 and another one 3.70.
hmm is their one for 3.70
i heard something about a E3 flasher. downgrades 3.70 – 3.55.
but their is now a upgrade to 3.72 so if you have upgraded RIP lol
