Is my windows 7 genuine?

August 27th, 2013

Left computer into a local shop because it would not switch on and seemed completely dead, they said motherboard needed replaced and recommended i upgrade to windows 7 (which only cost an extra 40£) since iv got it home at first it was crashing and going to bluescreen due to ntfs.sys error, after running scans and updates it seems to have stopped crashing now, I recently found heur.agent/gen-fakesas and win.32/opencandy viruses, (computer was clean of all issues the last time i checked, was reading that fake windows versions can sometimes pass verification tests and can contain viruses etc, windows is showing as verified on the website and on the computer but something doesn’t seem right.. is there any way to check if its really genuine?

The guy properly installed a pirated version of Windows 7 for you and activated it with Windows Loader that you could do it for free if you download it from here, to check if your Windows is activated go to Start -> Right click Computer -> Properties -> Scroll down to Windows Activation, if it says Windows is activated then it’s activated
