Is Kaspersky Pure still the way to go as far as IS concerned

August 6th, 2016

I’ve been using Kaspersky Pure since I started pirating. It was indefinitely the best as far as I was concerned. As of recently, i’ve come to the realization I have yet to check on something more efficient than it for quite some time.
Any suggestions or is K-Pure still golden?
EDIT: Perhaps one using less resources but same production?

Kas is good…but really most AV are good these days. So each to his own.
Myself, but I use multiple protection, each that do something different for me.
So depending on which I use, I have run 4 PC’s ( some test platforms, some for daily use) I just use AVG/ESET all together with SuperAntiSpyware and MalwareBytes.
Yeah some AV will suck ur resources, ( you decide if its worth it) so I have decided in my circumstance the two mentioned work for me , together with the 2 extra weekly injections.
Then on top of this, I always run a VPN service while connected, so not am I not only clean, but running in the dark with my vpn service.
This is what the smart money does..

I guess so..
Kaspersky AV and Internet Security got a 100% rating in a magazine test.
It did let in 6 viruses but killed them when they tried to become active.
Eset let in 6 also but only killed 2 when they became active.
Norton was about the same as Eset – let in 8 and killed off 6 of them..

there are many good av with high ratings , but since u mention about pirating , u need something which doesnt give false alarms on cracks. a software can protect with %100 ratio but it is also important how smart it is , if it says virus to everything , it doesnt different than garbage for me. for you , kaspersky is the best , top protection with least false positives. it is also currently best among all software tested by independent labs , then comes the bitdefender it is also good with good protection and least false positives. if u r looking for something free avast and avira are your choice. norton , trendmicro , and eset also good , not as good as kaspersky and bitdefender but they will do the job including giving alert for the half of cracked games.
kaspersky internet security will give you the same protection with pure , pure just have additional extras and little more costly , antivirus engines are same .
for on demand scanning and cleaning, all independent labs and review sites points the same software , malwarebytes anti-malware . but on my personal experience , it cant clean adware or spyware’s sources , just clean the files that are created by source , where source re-creates these files constantly , but if everyone says it is best then it means this is the best you can get

I would not go with Kaspersky anymore,it’s just not viable anymore.

What would you suggest?
Answer #7
I would suggest Avast!/Avira/ESET/MSE + Malwarebytes
But realistically, the most effective IS is to use your brain, which is just not clicking on suspicious stuff
Kaspersky still is one of the best AVs, but just isn’t worth the hassle
Answer #8
I use KIS 2015 and I have no problems. It gives no false positives on keygens and cracks unlike other AV’s.
I would give kaspersky a thumbs up
