Answer #1
nod32, no doubt.
Answer #2
really?
Answer #3
Kaspersky anyday
Answer #4
i was gonna do a poll but i couldnt so ill just see which one is better
Answer #5
NOD-32. I used that until their subscription rates went unreasonably high. Can’t stand Kaspersky.
Answer #6
well u can get it here for free in this forum
Answer #7
How would that work with updates though? It downloads them from the eset server, but it must authenticate first. The program’s not very useful without recent definitions.
Answer #8
ill pm u the link ok
Answer #9
lol KAPERSKY ALL THE WAY last time i placed nod on ma computer it picked up a virus lol
Answer #10
I have used both, the recent version of nod 32 has become a bit of a resource hog, in my personal experience kaspersky is slightly better.
Answer #11
A debate with no answer really. It is just down to your preferences, just try both and see. But I could say this Nod32 is much lighter in use of system resources but despite that I prefer Kaspersky:)
Answer #12
Kaspersky4life
There have been numerous threads like this and like said there really is NO real answer. Its like the age old question “what came first the chicken or the egg?”
There is no real answer no matter what lol
Answer #13
nod32…. best antivirus ever…
Answer #14
lol KAPERSKY ALL THE WAY last time i placed nod on ma computer it picked up a virus lol
Isn’t that what its suppose to do?
I wouldn’t want it putting a virus on my computer…
Answer #15
I was previously using NOD32 (the 3.x version, not the newer 4.x) and switched to Kaspersky cause I had to redo my system from a virus that got past NOD. Ive been with Kaspersky for over 6 months and been virus free (well, once adware got through, but CounterSpy got that).
So I say Kaspersky is the better protection.

Got your answer. I prefer NOD32 because as he said, it’s lighter and works just as good as kaspersky.
Answer #17
It’s NOD32 all the way.
Answer #18
nod 32 has never given me any problems at all, my preference here. in all its your preference. Either way they are both good, I like nod32 bc you can find fixes that “last forever”, but with kaspersky the keys get blacklisted every so often and then you ahve to find ne keys, which can be kind of a pain sometimes

I think he meant his computer got a virus even though with NOD32.
Answer #20

Answer #21
ESET ftw….Never had a single problem,Using For two years now
Answer #22
NOD32 Smart Security . End Of Discussion .
Answer #23
I read some of you are saying you run both, is it advisable to do that, will it lag your computer too much, or will there be conflicts between the two. Trying to figure out the best internet security suit, I was using kaspersky but I got infected and it didn’t detect the virus so I’m trying to find a better alternative
Answer #24
dont like kaspersky it gets really annoyinh like nod32
Answer #25
nod32, because it has a memory footprint of 30mb…
And you can use an eset server in large networks/company’s
Answer #26
Nod FTW. I’ve been using it for years and it never let me down. Also lighter than kaspersky and doesnt need a new key every 5 mins
Answer #27
Eset SmartSecurity. I have tried Eset and Kaspersky, both are superb. I am having problems with Kaspersky that’s why I use Eset, both are great as what I’ve said.
Do you pair your AV’s with another AV or anti-malware software etc.?
Answer #28
Never run more than the one AV at a time…
Some people run a anti-malware as well though..
Personally I just run Eset Smart security all the time and just do the odd manual scan with anti-malware such as Malwarebytes..
Answer #29
i prefer nod 32

Eset running in real time all the time as per normal….but other stuff just for a manual scan and then exit it..is what I meant..
Answer #32
NOD32 uses the least CPU memory-usage and great for computers which need an AV and will not slow down the computer.
Kaspersky is also great – it has some features that I really like, with NOD32 doesn’t have.
All depends on what you require.
Answer #33
Kaspersky!!
Answer #34
Both of them are CRAP actually all programs are crap you must open your eyes and don’t only let them protect bt also you give help to keep the computer working as should be!

Answer #36
