Is it difficult to hack a PSP?

I’m thinking of getting a PSP 3000 for Christmas, and I’m wondering if its difficult to hack them to play downloaded games? And is there a chance to mess up the PSP.

It’s really easy if you follow a tutorial on how to hack it but PSP 3000 can’t be hacked at the moment if the firmware is above 5.03

Get 1000 one or hackable 2000, or try to find already hacked 3000 i personally have 1000.And btw if you brick 3000 you can only repair by sending it to Sony.

Get a 1000, 2000’s you have to make a pandora’s battery for… Which I got wrong.
So it’s a pain to do it, a 1000 is basically instantly hackable.

hi guy its been a long time sence any posted on this thread hopfully i get a reply anyway i have a psp 3003 date code is 9D and the serial starts with ABo3 and the firmware is version 6.38. I have read up loadz about if a psp is hackable but i just cant get my head round it so hopefully you guys can help me sence the last post on ere woz in 08 hopfully the psp 3003 is hackable now thanks for ur help

I’ve got a PSP 3004 with 5.50 and it’s hacked. It works flawless
