ipod error (-19)

im trying to baack up my ipod touch 1st gen and it keeps saying that error, same for when i try to restore a previous back up
and i’ve jailbroken it before on 2.0.2 but i wanted to upgrade to 2.1, it started happening before i upgraded
any solutions?

did you try a manual restore?
By shift+clicking restore and selecting your firmware?

is the ipod frozen? if so :
FOR FROZEN (BRICKED) IPOD TOUCHES:
1. HOLD POWER BUTTON AND HOME BUTTON DOWN AT THE SAME TIME.
2. WHEN THE SLIDE TO POWER OFF COMES UP LET GO OF POWER BUTTON BUT KEEP HOLDING HOME BUTTON UNTIL IT TURNS OFF.
3. PLUG INTO ITUNES AND CLICK RESTORE. IT WILL BOOT FROM RECOVERY MODE AND THEN RESTORE AND YOU'RE GOOD TO GO.
if its not , i dont see any problem , just click restore in itunes or downgrade by downloading certain firmware and click ctrl+restore and pick the downloaded firmware…

i did restore
many times
both from within the legit itunes firmware and the shift click one too
and its not frozen it works fine besides the backups
which i think is preventing it from being detected by quickpwn so i cant jailbreak it again
so i beleive that if i solve the backup problem then i can jailbreak it

jailbreak sux mate , i told one guy some time ago , and he did it like i said , its the best , just download latest firmawe , install it , and install free apps with itunes , thats just my opinion , but jailbreak is still jailbreak and that way i told u is 100 percent sure … have fun !
