iphone or nokia 5800 ?

also from the seller he told me not to try to update is or it will be locked ,if i want to update ,how to unlock it ? is it easy ? ,one more thing ,i have a pc ,can the iphone work with it (usb) ?
The iPhone is no doubt the better choice, it works with PC so no worries, and theres SO much you can do with it. Don’t even bother looking at anythign else
Dont know the answer to all your questions, but yes its easy to unlock the iphone, yes it works on pc (in fact, to mac it work on mac you need the special connection i believe), and the iphone has tons of games and music (its a phone and ipod, hence the iphone). Also has wifi which is a big plus.

my friend had an ipod and sold it… to get either the nokia e71 or 5800xm.
he bought the 5800 one, i had it for few days and it’s really impressive.
I’m gonna change my samsung for this 5800 in a couple of days…

I would go for 5800 myself. Apple products are just fancy looking with no real features, you can get better products cheaper from other brands.
i have the nokia 5800 and it’s very cool, fast and is very easy to use compared to the iphone. my brother has an iphone and it’s complicated.
and the best of al it costs way less then the iphone.

I bought the nokia 5800 and my sister bought iphone.
my sister now wants to swap…lol
iphone is great….to many addons that are not realy needed though and made it more expensive
but 5800 has almost same features if you get the add-ons for for nokia, not all, but enough for my needs
plus its cheaper and most come with the 8gb memory which you can upgrade to 16
I bought the 5800 with 8gb mem. plus a free psp with 4 games 700mins and unlimited txts for �30 per month and free GPS
now why should I go get the iphone for 35 or 40??????
(this is based in UK and I don’t know the prices in other countries)
but, ok, F the price……..The Nokia is gonna be more suppported soon enough with many addons….as if it has’nt got enough already
Iphone to me is just a name, and the marketing really put it at its place now…..after trying both I’m sticking to my nokia 5800

What is better at 5800 then iphone is, it supports video call, mms. But the memory of iphone is better than 5800. I guess soon the new iphone software will be launched, that will make iphone more stable.

Nokia 5800 definitely!! Iphone has only two things better that 5800, multi touch and a bit bigger screen. Nokia has the option to change memory cards, that means you’re not really limited with disk space, it can connect to pc as mass storage device so you can use it without any software while you need the itunes for iphone, the camera comes with flash, it comes with stylus which is very useful for it’s hand writing recognition, most of the other features are the same. Nokia is cheaper.
Iphone is expensive just because of the Apple brand, there’s nothing really special about it, there are lots of touch screen phones today.

M8 you’re now wrong as Nokia 5800 has become multi-touch with latest firmware update.
Also reacts much faster now, even faster then the Iphone does. The 5800 does support video calling. The 5800 is advancing all the time with developers designing new software & firmware updates.
Watch out for iPhone OS3.0, it will turn down all iPhone arguments. I think with OS3.0, iPhone will be the only best choice.

Nokia 5800, there is not another phone like it for the price. Garmin sat nav works brilliantly on it, its the best phone that I have ever owned. Why pay over the odds for the iphone?.

nokia 5800, i got mine yesterday. awesome phone gotta say. works with pc perfectly, the app is very good and camera in phone is really good.

This 5800 even though was originally single touch screen, firmware has made is available for muti-touch. But as at the moment sofware has not been developed to demonstrate this feature. So it was no lie.
Just type in nokia 5800 mutitouch on youtube and you will see a developer plans on making a guitar hero type of game and muti-touch for further apps in the pipe line.
What I say is both nokia 5800 & iPhone are two great phones.
But with iPhone you are restricted to iTunes and only one network provider.
iPhone if it is UNLOCKED and JAILBROKEN. If you don’t jail break it so you can customize it, the iPhone is worthless. Please take note you WILL have to buy an extra data plan with the iPhone as most stuff on there needs the internet. While the Nokia 5800xm, it is optional.
Although there is suppose to be a new iphone out in June which supports an official video recorder and everything, so maybe wait til June if you decide the iPhone.
iPhone breaks a lot, I have gone though 3 iPhones. I’m thinking of getting another phone but I’m still willing to give iPhone another try.

5800 is getting upgraded to Capacitive Mutli-touch screens; headphone sound is the same, because they all use the same codecs to decrypt sound, ‘Better’ UI is based on Opinion, in your case you’ve added that as an extra point towards iPhone’s failure. Surfing on the 5800 is better, and it actually has a file manager (iPhone’s can’t copy?).
5800 is iPhone + much more, it has alot more features at a lower cost.
