IPhone 3GS to PC Music transfer SOLVED

After Losing all my music on my comp I’m forced to transfer my music library from my phone to my computer.
I’ve tried at least 5 programs but they either don’t detect my phone, crash or have compatbility issues with windows 7.
I have a 3GS on firmware 4.2.1 and would like to know if any else has successfully done this, as I have trawlled through many apps.
I know the other options if to SSH but it will take over 6 hours to transfer 20+ gigs of music so I’m trying to avoid that.
