Internet Download Manager version SNAFU

IDM 6.11b7 mysteriously uninstalled itself. I checked in programs and features and also for an IDM folder in program files, not there. Anyway, I installed 6.19b2, (downloaded from WBB) patched it and voila, I have 6.11b7. I didnt check the registry first, thats only thing I can think of. Can a registry entry override the setup version??

I used Revo then cleaned the registry manually. A couple of reboots later, I ran the setup for 6.19b2, patched it, ran the reg file and voila, I have 6.19b2. Done.
After all that, the new install had all my download history, I wonder where it was hiding that… Theres an IDM folder in appdata but its empty. Whatever.
