IDM not working?

August 5th, 2016

I was wondering if anyone else is having this problem.
I tried downloading a tv show, and it wasn’t working. I tried about 7 different links for the episode, and none of them worked in internet download manager. At first I put it down to it being an old episode so all the links have been removed. Then I re-entered my account details in IDM which normally fixes the problem. I then thought it must be rapidshare because I tried downloading newly posted stuff, none of which worked. When I pasted the link directly into my browser (Opera), the page just went blank and my IDM beeped indicating that the file had completed downloading, but there was nothing in the list. After trying all this, I used Internet Explorer and pasted the link directly into there. It finally worked. However, not with IDM. So I have concluded that my IDM isn’t working. I was wondering if anyone knows what the problem is. I figure it can’t be the account details because I have re-entered them and it doesn’t download the file even when i paste the link into my browser. Everytime I try and download a file directly through IDM it just downloads a .html file. So after that extremely long back story, I was wondering if anyone knows what the problem with IDM is?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
EDIT: I have entered my friends account details to test it out and it works. So the problem is my rapidshare account when using IDM.

Answer #1
are you sure you have direct download enabled on your account?
Answer #2
I just checked then and it is enabled.
It has been working for the last day so I don’t know what the problem was. Thanks for your help though.

I’ve recently been having the problem where I try to IDM-queue a set of links and only some are recognised as valid links. I requeue and again only some are valid, but this time different ones are , whilst previously good ones are now . I just keep requeuing until I can fuge together a complete set of and I then start downloading. Don’t know why this is happening, but just requeue and bingo
