i am looking for the name of this program

it think it is a boot program and it will format and overwrite the hard drive a couple of times to make sure all previous data can never be found back again.
any help finding the name of this program? :p
the name contained “&” or “and” i am not sure which one it was

my hard drive is broken and i want to send to the store but i first wanna make sure they will not mess around with my files/CP xD
