Hi all looking for a bit of advice here I have a HDR-FOX T2 BOX and I know you can play video files from a usb stick on it, I’m just wondering what files are playable I usually always download avi files but was wondering if a HD file would work?
Thanks for any help!

Playable files include JPEGs, XVID, DivX, MP3s and most movie codecs except MKV.

If you want to be able to play any movie file from here on your TV, then you could invest in a seperate media player.
Sumvision has just brought a newer version of their cheaper model out, which will play almost everything. I have the previous version (Micro 2+) in my bedroom, and it has played every file thrown at it.

You can also go along the route of getting one with internal storage (hdd) in this case I would also recommend Sumvision Cyclone Primus.
I bought one of these last month, also plays everything and more, but I’m still trying to find out how it make a cup of tea

I’d also recommend the sellers above if you are in the UK as they are good. The guy in Hong Kong is good for the Egreat, drop me a pm if you want info about that.
*Edit – don’t get a western digital media player, they don’t play every file, and some of them have been bricked with the latest firmware update, lolz
