You still need a certain type of chip, to put on what ever board you have.
Psgroove only works on a certain type of chip that is in short supply at mo, supposedly
Ya i read that.The internet is swamped with loads of ways to do it with iphones.android phones.ipod touch.usb flash drives.usb microcontrollers havent a clue what they are but there is no guide its all very complicated and all the youtube videos are very annoying.Its say click the link below to download the files you need underneath the youtube video but then they want you to do a survey before you download it.Really annoying.Im sure theres thousands of people on this site who have it done because theres loads of ps3 games posted on here.Im just looking for a guide on how to do it properly

most of the stickys there tell you the various different ways how to do it step by step and provide the files. no solution will be free though unless you happen to have a compatible device alredy such as a ipod touch 1g etc etc.
Which device do you want to use, chipset/pic/phones?
Because it’s not really the same way to flash them.
For chipset/pics, you must have a bootloader (already flashed or have to flash one) before flashing the main exploit…

I’m having similar problems as the original poster but i want to do it via a basic thumb/pen/usb stick what ever you want to call them any help would be greatly appreciated
don’t forget to make sure you PS3 is FW 3.41 or below – cause jailbreaking (as far as I know) doesn’t work on FW 3.42 or 3.50
