How to get around blocks at school?

I was wondereing how to get around blocks at school. I was thinking of using a portable VPN and running it off my USB Drive, are there any good ones?

Okay, I will try, but I get a feeling that this site will be blocked too, because the school blocks ALL proxy sites. You cant even google proxy sites, that gets blocked too

There must be at least 4 posts a day in this section related to this issue – all with various different methods people have suggested.
Personally I would use a VPN or download TAILS and boot any puter from a USB drive with it.

Just for surfing, try TOR BROWSER, with that I can freely go to all sites at work that are otherwise blocked. Not for downloading though as it’s very slow.

Change the proxy yourselfs, look it up at home.

Tried running that on my usb, Tor could not start. Most of the proxy sites either give an error or are blocked.
At this point, I can only think of a portable VPN. Anybody know of one?
