August 5th, 2016

I download a lot of movies from this website. most of avi files are 716mb. I don’t know what tools they use to get small sizes. Can you guys help me ? thanks in advance

Many use AutoGK or Gordian Knot. Other alternatives are avi.NET and FairUse Wizard which is shareware, but there is a Light version which is free but it has some limits. avi.NET is fairly new and I have not tried it but it does get some good reviews. AutoGK is easy to use and Gordian Knot is more advanced giving more options and control. Try any of these and find out what suits you.
Image[Edit] Most Avi files are about 700MB +-3MB, they aim for 700MB but the encoding does not always manage to fit it to exactly 700MB (FairUse Wizard is meant to fit the size better). 716MB will most likely include a Sample as I have never seen a movie so badly sized.

Here’s the tut for using AutoGK

DVDFab Platinum can also do the trick…Use DVD to Mobile (default)
Remember to set output file size to 700MB or 1CD

716mb you will find will fit comfortably on a 700mb CDR disc
Answer #4
i use winAVI to convert file from an avi to dvd and to burn it to a disc and i’ve never had any problems

Not without overburning it won’t. A 700MB CDR can fit only 703.xxMB. A shortened leadout should extend it slightly (12MB) but still not quite enough to stretch to 716MB without overburning.
Hardly a comfortable fit.
Answer #6
you can always use rmvb converter to make it like 200mb

Cut the end credits

I think you are making an error reading the units; pay attention and you just may find the file is actually 716,000 KB not 716 MB. Am I correct? 716,000 KB will fit easily on a 700 MB CD.
Answer #9
Like says…718,000KB is still only 701 MB..so no probs
In fact if you look at it’s properties it will show about 736,400,000 bytes
