How to clean firefox browser history
February 5th, 2020
and etc ? Tracks eraser or privacy eraser don’t help. Each time I uninstall and reinstall
firefox, all the history is there.Should I use a registry editor also?
Thanks in advance
Firefox saves the “data” in your user / roaming directory.
Uninstalling does not remove the data – just the program.
Uninstall and then delete the mozilla directory C:\Users\<your name>\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla
Everything goes! Obviously this is for a complete clean, and not a solution for general day-to-day cleaning (should this even be necessary).
I use R-Wipe & Clean … I assume it cleans the history etc. but I’ve never checked.
I don’t uninstall Firefox (never had any reason to) but just upgrade when a new version comes out.
Ccleaner is another popular alternative in addition to the above .
Ccleaner is excellent;I have been using it for a while now and works pretty good.
