How do you make 720p mp4 videos?

March 16th, 2014

I just bought a tablet and I’m trying to put movies on it but most of the mp4 videos available are for iPod sizes so the video quality isn’t that great when I put them on the tablet. I’ve downloaded some 720p mkv videos that are usually 600 – 800mb but when I convert them to mp4 they’re almost 3gb big. I’ve noticed there are some videos that are around 700mb at 720p quality and I was just wondering how I can make a high quality video at that size myself. I’ve been using foxreal and even when I used an mkv converter program the size ended up even bigger than it was when I did it with foxreal.
Is there anything I can do? These files are becoming too big and it’s taking me too long to convert them. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

What tablet do you have ? An iPad I assume.
You can use (buy) software like AVPlayerHD which can play most video formats.

You can look at my Help Guide (link in my signature) under How to repack (without conversion) MKV to MP4 for Xbox, PS3 etc

Thank you so much! This helps a ton. I had a bit of trouble at first because the audio and video weren’t syncing properly, but I think I got it
