How do you disable Norton Internet Security

Hey, i have a problem with a game of mine, and i want to try and disable Norton, so that i can re-install msxml 4.0 to get the game to work, But, how do i disable Norton internet security?? theres no exit button

Hmm, There must be a option in the settings, Try and turn back the clock on your computer and see if that works

There isnt actually a way of closing it.
You could end the process (ccapp or something i think it is), but i’m not sure that this actually stops all the av stuff that is running
If you go into settings, there are options to turn everything off.. select everything to turn back on when you tell them to be turned on, then restart, this should sort it.
Norton is really a problem.. i’ve seen nearly every version of it.. yeah it’s good at stopping virus’, but rly it takes up so much system memory and it just blocks things you don’t want it to (LAN)

Norton sucks hard. When it’s time to renew, get Kaspersky.
Until then, I’d just kill the processes via Task Manager.

If its just the firewall you want to disable right click on the icon for norton in your task bar and click disable norton internet security or something like that. Or a good idea as stated above would be to go into task manager and end norton processes. good luck.

Have a look at your Start Up entries (Start/Run. type in msconfig and click ‘start up’ ) and untick any entries concerning Norton…Then reboot and hopefully you will be Norton free, until you re-enable the entry..
