heya i got a freind in a america who i havnt talked to in a couple of months now i got his phonen umber but i have never rang him and i really feel like ringing him to catch up
i’ve known him since i was 12 and i am now 17
well i forgot what state he lives in but what i need to know is
how do i ring him how in de hell ? !!
i got his phone number on antoher computers hdd that has broken down so i need to get the number but i neeed help how do u ring other countries ?

Well america’s ISD code is 001 so just prefix 001-xxxxxxxxx
Although u’ll need ISD activated on ur Phone for that

There are 275 million people in the States, so if you don’t have his number, thant I don’t know what to suggest.
If you DO have his number though, dial:
001 (xxx) xxx-xxxx
Replaces the X’s with the number you have (I presume it’s in the format above).

You can start at www.whitepages.com. You will have to have some kind of info, though. Hunting for a needle in a haystack is not easy.
Also, have you considered using Skype for your call? Less than 3 cents per minute for the call to his land line phone. Or, FREE if your friend has Skype as well.

and yes there are plenty of “white pages” for the US on the Internet
