How can I lock my External Hard disk with password..?

How can I lock my External Hard disk with password..?? My external hard disk remains always connected to my PC. Now I want any software or method so that only I can access it.Actually I have to open a guest account on my PC….And I want to restrict access to my external hard disk from that account…..Please help me out….

Yeah, use Truecrypt, or Stealthdisk, and create a large volume (obviously smaller than your hdd).
You have to then mount that volume from the external to access it – very tough encryption, even the FEDS can’t crack it.
Personally I prefer Stealthdisk, but Truecrypt is free and just as good.
