How can i convert DVD to AVI

Hey guys just a quick question how can i convert a DVD Format to AVI. I have looked around on google and found a lot of software. Can anyone help me out here with some proved software that works ? Looking for high quality

Thats what i use too, so simple to use, but you need to use a program like DVD Decrypter first to get the movie off the DVD

I myself when I ran a Windows operating system used DVDFab it works great, fast, user friendly GUI and the only copier to actually keep the correct sound file after copy. (Surround sound users know what I mean with the DD) It will convert to AVI and there are other media conversion types also. Just do a simple search under apps and you can find it.

guys guys why are u only sayin autogk. he also needs dvd decrypter
He said DVD Format to AVI. So tellin him only autoGK. He wont do nothin lol
