Help With PayPal

I sold something 2 this guy, he sent me $15 and it was all fine. Then he made a dispute thing, and i have no idea what hes on about. Could someone explain. I would refund him but it says i cant cos im not verified =(

Do you have any proof you sent him his item? paypal really wants to help the people that receive payments because thats where there money is. If you have proof you sent his item like a screen shot of a sent email or a tracking number send it to paypal they are great about making sure you win if you have any proof.

you could send him a money order or cheque. but make you get proof that you sent it to him

Btw, i dont get it. If i buy something on the net with PayPal, get the item, scam the guy and make a dispute after it, i get the money back?

If the buyer knows how to cover there butt you wont get your money back (if they really sent you the item)
I have sold on ebay for over 6 years and have alot of people try to scam me….and it never works for them.

Well lemme try explain what i dont understand:
Person 1 buys a item and pays on PayPal
Person 2 Sends the item, item arrives on Person 1 House
Person 1 Tries to scam person 2, making a dispute
Person 2 have to give the money back?
How the person 2 will have the proof of the sent item?

if Person2 is sending an item that someone bought they need to add “delivery confirmation/tracking number” to the package they sent them…..
Because If they dont have proof they sent the item, then they will most likely lose the dispute since there is no proof the item really was sent.
So in short if you sell on ebay, you need to always have proof the item was sent.

Yeah like said, u need a delivery confirmation… as long as u have that the shipper becomes responsible for the product.
I think this is how it works…
PayPal is perty hard to scam, since every account has a bank account or debit/credit card attached to it. Once a buyer has been scammed, he notifies PayPal. Then PayPal notifies the seller to resolve the issue within a certain time frame. If he/she doesn’t, PayPal perty much bans the seller account, therefore you wouldn’t be able to use the bank account or debit/credit card number even if u open another account.
Once PayPal actually pulled the money off a seller’s account after I reported no product received, and he/she didn’t resolve the issue

Paypal will not ban you for not refunding a buyer…..they just take the money out of your bank account or credit card if you dont give them proof the item was sent.
Now if you have more than 3 disputes at a time the will suspend your account (you wont be able to receive payments) until you resolve them, you only get banned if paypal cant withdraw money from your account for a refund.
Like I said I have been selling on ebay for 6 years and have had about 50 disputes in that time….never lost one.

To get banned it takes only (1) dispute….and what it takes is: you refuse to refund the money and paypal has no way of withdrawing the money from you.
Also its a life time ban so if they find out you had a paypal account that got banned, they will ban the new one to even if you where good this time and had no problems.
