Help with Internet Connection

Hey recently my Dad’s computer’s internet wouldn’t work and he has the router connected to his computer, but I’m getting my Net connection off the router and my net works fine, now does anyone have any idea why his isn’t working? I don’t get why i get net connection off the router which is connected to his comp, and he doesn’t get anything

His Computer might not have drivers installed properly. Once you install a router, it will work without a working PC connected.

Go to Device Manager. Do you see any ‘?’ or any problems with Wireless Adapter?
Is your DAD laptop with you? Are you able to connect to any other networks?
Can you see the wireless signal from your windows?(of your router)(or any other wireless SSID’s)
If all of these are working, Login into your router & check if you have Enabled MAC protection. See if your DAD’s MAC is blocked.
Are you sure you have entered the right WEP/WPA2 keys? (recheck)
These are all I can think of right now.
