Help with 3D movies

On here people are uploading half and full SBS. are these the 3D movies that people play on the bluray players?
Also what is the other 3D called where you had to have the glasses with the different colour lenses so i know to stay away from them XD

The uploaded 3D movies you see now are indeed the ones you can play on your bluray player. You do need a screen (and sometimes accesories) to be able to view these movies in 3D.
The 3D involving coloured layers and glasses is called anaglyphic 3D. If you see an old movie being uploaded in 3D, it is most likely in anaglyphic 3D, although some old movies are getting re-released in the “new” 3D.
