Help Using a pdf Editing Software

Hi, I have a scanned ebook but the problem is that it opens like a physical book. Meaning the pages are left and right instead of most ebooks where each page is below the other.
So, one page will contain one page on the left and one on the right. I want to split them and put them one below the other. Is this possible and what type of software can I use?

I hate books like that. I have come accross many books like that and the way to change it to one page is in Adobe Acrobat, Document, Crop Pages:

You move the up or down arrow to the position you want. Then you select the page range. Every page obviously. Then click OK.
However, from my experience, it doesn’t always come out perfect. It takes a lot of trial and error to get it looking good.
