Help needed to create a RAID0 backup

August 8th, 2016

hello.
has anyone experience/s of setting up a backup of a RAID0 disk-set? what backup software would manage this in a straight forward manner? i have tried using TIB software from acronis but, the array is seen as a single disk[that’s ok, yes i gather that] but, i am unable to go any further with the backup.
tia.

Answer #1
Paragon Hard Disk Manager can do this even if you need drivers for the raid card,
Answer #2
thnx man. the array drivers are no problem[access to a fdd and to the drivers]they are not ‘slipstreamed’.
the recovered image wud be of an OS[xp]-this image wud have to be bootable.
with PHDM, that’s ok? [a ‘cold'[save]?]
Answer #3
Yeah just get the latest drivers for the card and add them in when making the iso boot image
Answer #4
gotcha, okay. thanks
Answer #5
to …grand
worked a treat. the PHDM. i did not have to do anything[ext. drivers]. i came across the S.Serloc boot repair .iso.
there’s quite another ‘something’ in that lot. fantastic piece of kit. recommended to all and sundry for almost anything.
thanks mna
