Help in setting up secure WLAN at home

January 27th, 2020

We just purchased a new wireless modem and all is working fine at the moment, however its by default on an unsecured network..Im messing with the settings and everytime I think I have enabled security, the network gets disabled..
Can someone roughly guide me what I need to do in order to password-protect my network..
Thanks

You have a Linksys router? Just turn on WEP security and setup a WEP key.
Once done, you enter that key on each wireless computer that you want to use with it.
There are some very good tutorial eBooks in the eBook forum at a site very near you.
Do a search for WIRELESS DUMMIES in the eBooks forum.
