help in Fan LEDS wiring and Switch

I read this thread about making a switch for fan leds here

and now i know how to make the switch but i want to know if i have 4 120mm fans with red led how i can connect them all to 1 switch to turn the LED off of all 4 fans with 1 Switch ? how i can connect them all to the switch as i knew in the thread it shows that the ground are all connected to each other and then to the switch but if i have 4 fans how will i connect them to each other, will there be any short circuit or something ? and also if i used a fan controller i connect the 4 fans normally without any wiring or something ?
