help connecting a home amplifier to my pc sound card

August 4th, 2016

Hi guys i just bought a XMS 5.1 surround sound amplifier recently and had it all setup through my pc sound card for a little beat studio i have going in my office area,
and now i have just moved house and am trying to set it up again and for some reason i cant configure my sound card..i have the “headphone jack” going into my sound-blaster live sound card and the “2 RCA leads” going into the back of my amplifier
When i play a song in windows media and open up the sound card “there is a sound meter icon next to the soundcard name” and it flashes green to the beat of the song “but yet no sound what so ever”
Please help
im running windows vista home premium edition
when i click on control pannel and “click sound” this is what is listed
(speakers) SB Live! 24-bit “Disabled”
(Digital Audio Interface) SB Live! 24-bit “Working”
(speakers) SOUNDMAX intergrated Digital Audio “Working”
Hope this helps and hope its a simple solution Thanks Guys!!!
