Help! acer aspire one 522 keyboard keys arnt working

i have an acer aspire one 522 about 3months old and the keyboard just failed. some keys work but others just dont bother trying
touch pad broke but did a full system restore to try fix both errors and touch pad worked.
it may be still in warrenty but really would like to know if any one can help me.
dont want to take it back to pcworld coz they prob charge me.
