HardDisk Problem!

Hi all
I have a little problem! 1 ATA HD and 3 SATA HDks connected to my PC.
system installed to ATA HD. Other hard disks has my music,film ect.
when I open music or other data on Sata drivers it taking 15-20 sec to load the driver. Can i resolve this problem?

1st get “Hard Disk Sentinel” and check the drive’s health to be sure that’s not the problem
the “drivers” are loaded at boot not when you access the disk, so that’s not the problem
it may be that your “MFT” (master file table for NTFS formatted disks) is large and takes a while to read
after opening the “data on Sata drivers” the 1st time it opens quicker the next time (no 15-20 sec delay) ?
if the drives health is OK a defrag might speed up access

I was checked by Hard Disk Sentinel and one of my HD health 40% Other one 70%
last one 100%
is there any posible to repair this prob.?
Btw Only first time 15-20sec delay, then work perfectly

NP dude! But when the test (Repair) is compleet chek the list, if you have a sector fault that is very bad you might backup it and buy a new HDD. if not try to recover you’re hdd with hiren. if that is not working i reconsider to buy the hdd because you can loose you’re data one day in thin air without knowing it.
Ow and after the tests defrag you’re hdd that you’re data will be placed in the correct sectors. and do a cleanup of the hdd to.

that’s your problem alright
before running chkdsk as suggested above backup any critical files as chkdsk might make them unreadable
I myself would skip chkdsk and purchase a new drive to replace both and copy your data over 1st then run chkdsk
if the drives are new enuf you may be able to replace them under warranty
if warranty is available have them send you the replacement up front, then copy your data and return the bad drive
