Hacking the PS3

after googling I found out that there are like two methods
CFW needs to have the console 3.55 or lower and installs CFW, reminds of PSP hacking
whereas there is as well Jailbreaking which does not require any specific firmware, and works on 3.72

Could you explain which one of these two is better? or whether one of them is fake?

CFW is the only way to play pirated games.
That “jailbreaking” file will probably brick your PS3.
Stay as far as you can from anything on that blog. Anything that says it can jailbreak or install CFW on anything above 3.55 is fake for the time being.
Go read a respected website such as psx-scene.com
