Graphics Card better than 9400 GT…

August 4th, 2013

I was on the hunt for a new card, but I can’t really afford much right now (being a student).
But instead I just thought I’d look for one that will be better than my 9400 GT, but there’s a catch, needs to be under £50..
Thanks!

if you search ebay you might find an ATI 4890/4870 for £50.
will play most games on high/max providing you have a decent PSU CPU and a normal resolution (1440*900 here)

nVIDIA 8600 GT must be under £50 and is better than 9400 GT.

Ebay is your best bet at that price range. I recently purchased my 5770 off there for £48. I would reccomend a 5770 or 260 at that price. The 4890s are good but ive heard that they are very loud and get very hot

An ATi HD 5770 is the best option, it will play most games at a good resolution.

Honestly I don’t recommend any ATI, I remember buying a 5770 and it lasted about 3 days before I had to return it and get a new one cause it somehow overheated…then the new one did the same @_@…I stick with Nvidia, and if you want a better card get a 8600 gt like someone else said. here is one for cheap one…not sure where you live xD http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BFG-NVIDIA-GeForce-8600-GT-OCE-256-MB-GDDR3-SDRAM-PCI-Express-x16-Graphics-Card-/290654814935?pt=PCC_Video_TV_Cards&hash=item43ac6082d7

not just AMD/ATI has this issue so do nvidia.
and that not cheap for such a ~love~ card tbh.
you can get a HD4850 512MB for £50 however they can get hot so id get a few fans etc.
