Google Chrome Errors

I’m getting an error when trying to visit random sites, some work, some don’t.
Error 324 (net::ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE): The server closed the connection without sending any data.
I tried reinstalling Chrome, I tried restarting the modem, but for some reason, I’m still getting the error. I rebooted, still get the error. I’m running the latest version to… Any ideas? I’m getting just nothing when I load up the page in Firefox. Is it possible this could be an ISP blocking the site?
However, what reasons would they have to block this particular site if it were?

It would help your situation by fixing it if that is what the problem is, did you try it? All you gotta do is plug in the numbers and press ok…

What he suggested will not harm you in any way but i can’t imagine how that will help. Anw try it you can only gain from this not lose anything.

I’ve looked at all the threads, and nothing really popped up that could fix it, i tried what I could. I get the error with other browsers, yeah, but for them it’s just a blank page.

Are you able to successfully browse sites via a proxy?

Try to reset google chrome to it’s default settings;

You probably uninstalled Chrome but the configuration file was kept in your computer.

If you are getting it with other browsers as well, it’s more than likely a DNS error.
Try flushing your DNS cache,
start > run > ipconfig /flushdns
If that doesn’t resolve it, try visiting the sites in question via a proxy server
eg.
http://www.hideip.co/
If you can see the sites OK, then it is your ISP’s DNS server more than likely causing the problems. If that is the case, see if your ISP has alternate DNS servers you can use (ring their tech support or Google it), alternatively, you can use OpenDNS as mentioned earlier in the thread.
